The Editor-in-Chief provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the journal. Responsibilities include:
Overseeing the entire editorial workflow and ensuring timely publication Upholding ethical standards, peer review integrity, and journal policies Making final decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection Coordinating with the publisher on journal development, indexing, and visibility Guiding long-term editorial planning, thematic issues, and special initiatives Representing the journal at academic and professional platforms

Associate Editors / Section Editors
Associate Editors or Section Editors support the review and evaluation of manuscripts within their respective areas of expertise. Responsibilities include:
Conducting initial assessments for relevance, quality, and adherence to scope Selecting qualified peer reviewers and managing the review process Synthesising reviewer feedback and making recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief Ensuring ethical compliance and resolving content-related concerns Promoting the journal within scholarly and clinical communities

The Managing Editor and technical team ensure smooth administrative and production processes. Responsibilities include:
Coordinating communication between authors, reviewers, and editors Checking formatting, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines Managing plagiarism screening, correspondence, and revision tracking Overseeing copyediting, typesetting, DOI assignment, and online publication Maintaining the journal website, archives, and metadata standards

Editorial Workflow

The editorial workflow of the International Journal for Fundamental and Interdisciplinary Research in Homoeopathy is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and scientific rigor at every stage of the publication process. Each manuscript follows a structured sequence from submission to final publication, maintaining strict adherence to ethical and quality standards.

Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscript through the prescribed submission portal or email in the required format. All submissions must comply with the Author Guidelines and include complete metadata, abstract, keywords, and ethical declarations.

Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office reviews the submission for completeness, formatting, scope alignment, and adherence to journal policies. Manuscripts may be returned to authors for technical corrections before proceeding.

Plagiarism & Quality Check
Manuscripts undergo similarity screening using plagiarism detection tools and manual assessment. Submissions with excessive similarity or ethical concerns are rejected at this stage.

Assignment to Section Editor / Handling Editor
A suitable Section Editor or Handling Editor is assigned based on subject expertise. The editor evaluates the manuscript’s novelty, relevance, and academic merit to determine its suitability for peer review.

Double-Blind Peer Review
The editor selects qualified reviewers with expertise in the manuscript’s field. Reviewer and author identities remain concealed.
Reviewers provide constructive, unbiased evaluations on methodology, relevance, clarity, originality, and scientific validity. Recommendations may include: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

Editorial Decision Based on Review Reports
The Handling Editor synthesizes reviewer comments and makes a preliminary decision.
Authors receive consolidated feedback and are requested to revise their manuscript wherever necessary.

Author Revision & Resubmission
Authors submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewer comments.
Revisions may undergo re-review depending on the extent of changes.

Final Editorial Assessment
The editor conducts a detailed evaluation of the revised submission.
If concerns remain, additional revisions may be requested.
Upon satisfactory quality, the manuscript is recommended for acceptance.

On acceptance:
The manuscript enters copyediting and formatting.
DOI assignment is initiated.
Authors may complete fee or waiver formalities if applicable.

Authors review page proofs to correct minor errors before publication.
